With a limited squad of only 10 players, the ladies 4's confronted a youthful Chapeltown 3rd's. Unfortunately, the team were run out 4-0, however the scoreline does not tell the whole story. The team fought well, with large stretches of play, however they were unable to convert the possession into goals. Of note, was some excellent play from Maisie Fallas and Lideya Booth who were both awarded player of the match. Winless Slazengers 4ths came as close to breaking their duck as they have all season as they pushed Leeds 4ths all the way before losing 3-1 in Division Six North of the Yorkshire Women's League. It was 0-0 at the interval as experienced defender Mandy Lacey led a solid rearguard effort to keep out the mid-table visitors. After a succesful 'Back to Hockey' campaign over the summer Slazenger's 4th ladies team travelled to Huddersfield with 5 of their new players. It was a great team effort the first half and Slazenger were unlucky to conceed a goal. In the second half both Claudia Barber and Megan Bird played some excellent hockey but fatigue set in and the young Dragons team were able to score twice more. Report: 15-12-2013 – Ladies 4th’s (3) vs. (0) Sheffield Hallam 5th’s

Slazenger ladies 4th team played a league game against Sheffield Hallam 5. Slaz were strong from the start and controlled the midfield well through excellent play by Hetty Walker. Some changes were created but Slaz was unable to score. In the 30th minute a great attack over the right, got finished with a strong strike from Ingrid Coughtrey to take the lead.
