It was a familiar story for Slazenger seconds. Afte dominating most of their game with Hull thirds they came off second best 3-1. Marcus Taylor added weight to the Slazenger midfield, but Slazenger threw away possession early on and Hull nipped in to open the scoring. Slazenger got back to winning ways in Yorkshire League 1 to consolidate their push for the title. The Horbury men now sit nine points clear at the top. DEPLETED SLAZENGER TRIUMPH IN THRILLER Slazenger travelled to Hull without several regular members of its squad - not knowing the strength or abillity of this Division One University side.
