Slazenger thirds took another giant stride up the Yorkshire League Division 6 with a narrow 2-1 victory away at local rivals Huddersfield thirds. Slazenger U14's got off to a great start in Sunday's three-match outing, but results ran away with them following the opening fixture. Slazenger kicked off with an encouraging 2-0 victory over Almonbury. Gareth Ventom starred with the ball struck to his stick up front, while Richard Hutchins and Ian Hedges also impressed.
