Slazengers were crowned Yorkshire Youth Hockey League under-ten boys champions after finishing unbeaten in the final competition of the season at Weetwood in Leeds. The Slazengers team won four and drew one of their five Group A round-robin matches – and remarkably did so without conceding a single goal. Keeper Aidan Coughtrey was well protected by Fraser Cass and Matthew Royston, who provided a defensive brick wall to keep out rivals from Huddersfield Dragons, Airedale, Leeds, York and … [Read more...] about Report: 22-03-2015 – Boys U10’s Champions of Yorkshire

Slazengers mens 2nd team suffered only their 2nd defeat in 8 games at home to Halifax on Saturday, eventually losing 3-2. Report: 07-03-2015 – Mens 2nd’s (2) vs. (1) Ben Rhydding 4th’s
Slazengers Mens 2nd team continued their recent good form with a 2-1 victory over Ben Rhydding 4's and although the win was deserved, the match was far from a classic. Slazengers started well controlling possession and moving the ball to create openings but rarely troubled the Rhydding keeper early on. In fact it was Ben Rhydding who took the lead midway through the first half. Slazengers quickly responded however when a quick switch through midfield saw Simon Chamberlain feed Ben Graham who … [Read more...] about Report: 07-03-2015 – Mens 2nd’s (2) vs. (1) Ben Rhydding 4th’s
