Slazenger’s seconds came into this game in confident mood after some good results in previous weeks but were soundly beaten by a very strong student team. Slazenger’s third team entered this quarter final clash against Huddersfield, with confidence, after a resounding victory in the previous round, a confidence that was well founded and resulted in Slazenger’s coming away 4-0 victors. Report: 07-11-2004 – Girls U12’s Tournament
Slazenger U12's took part in four Yorkshire Youth League matches at the weekend, the highlight being a 4-0 win over local rivals Wakefield. The competition started with a 0-0 draw with Pickering where they missed a number of chances to win the match, but made amends in the second match against Wakefield powering to a 4-0 win. Slazenger’s seconds finally grabbed their elusive first win of the season with a well deserved 3-1 win away at LA Metros thirds, a result which will hopefully kick start their season. Report: 31-10-2004 – Boys U10’s Tournament
Slazenger U10's traveled to York to take part in a tournament at Huntington School and returned home with two wins and three draws from their five matches. Slazenger began the first of five matches with probably their strongest six to take on York's B team and scoring in the opening minutes through Daniel Perry.
