Slazenger firsts drew 1-1 with third placed Sheffield Bankers. Sheffield set off well with strong play in midfield, but Slaz’ giving as good as they got created the better chances with great linking play from Mark and James Swindon, Mike Thornicroft and Richard Hutchins. Slazenger’s seconds took a hard fought point off an experienced Doncaster side but will be disappointed not to take all three. The Horbury side started brightly and used their pace to attack Doncaster down both flanks creating a number of chances only to be thwarted by the visiting keeper.
