With an unbeaten record and top of the league position Slazengers where in a positive mood. However with the opposition being 2nd in the league, Slazengers were mindful that this could be a tough game. Buoyant after the last two weeks wins, Slazengers were in a good frame of mind for this game. Halifax attacked from the start and forced the Slazengers midfield and defence to work hard at keeping them out of their defensive 25 yard line. Slazenger Ladies Hockey First Team put in an extra special performance this week to ensure two wins in two matches.
