Another unsunny day in Adel, but this did not dent the spirits of the Slazenger ladies 1st XI who have only had one game since November due to the bad weather. This break did not appear to have had a detrimental effect on the teams match fitness or skills. Slazengers Mens first team continued their good form with a well deserved 4-2 home win against Sheffield Hallam mens fifth team on Saturday. Slazenger 3rd's enjoyed a good 3-0 result away against Hull University 3rd's on Saturday with everyone in the side making telling contributions. After a great team performance last week slaz were looking to get another win with an away match at Leeds Adel Carnegie 5th. This however was not the case and slaz came away with a 1-1 draw. The Match itself was a close one with both teams pushing for the win. Slaz took an early lead with a well-worked goal.
