A slow after Christmas start for the Slazenger’s fifth team saw a dismal first half with a competent Doncaster team who ran rings around both young and old players. Slazengers began this second fixture of the weekend knowing a win would take them out of the relegation zone and above their opposition. Slaz ladies 3rd's took on Colne Valley and dominated from start to finish. With some excellent work from midfield Slazenger's had early chances but couldn't break the deadlock. 10 mins into the first half, Gemma whittam was lethal at the back post and fired home the first.
