Yvonne Horner Shield Semi Finals
An away game at Hull in the last thing you want at 3pm on a cold Sunday afternoon but Slazenger Ladies 2s showed their dedication to the cause and away we went on the bus of fun. The game started well with a quick goal and few more followed.
At half time the score was 4-1 to Slazengers. The second half was slower to take momentum and before we knew it the score was 4 all. A wake up call for Slazengers and with the prospect of flicks Slazengers pushed through and got another goal. Final score 5-4 to Slazengers through to the Cup final in April.
Goal scorers were Natasha Wiper, Daisy Gee Sanders, Elle Poskett and 2 for Hannah Field.
Man of the match went to Donna Wood.
