The second half started brightly again for both teams Richard smyth had to make a couple of good saves to keep the visitors out but with in a few minutes of the restart slaz had scored twice, the second goal was scored by Simon Randall who took in round the keeper after a precise cross from Jake Barras. John Sykes set up the next goal with a run into the D with a lifted cross with Tom Shepherd volleyed past the keeper to make it 6-2 to the home team. Sheffield then scored for the second time in the match. With 15 minutes to go there was still time for slaz to score another two.
In total here were 2 hat tricks in the match, one for Tom Shepherd who got man of the match, and one for Simon Randall, there was also a brace for John Sykes and some impressive performances from Tony Walker and Jake Barras. Slazengers next match is on the 22nd Jan away to Lincoln 3s.
