Captain Simon Taylor's 3rds hosted Rotherham for their first home game of the season. The opening half was almost all one way traffic, with Slazenger holding almost all of the posession. Slazengers Men's 2nd team got over the disappointment of the previous week with an excellent 7-1 victory at home to Chapeltown 2's on Saturday. Straight from the off, Slazengers laid a marker down not giving Chapeltown any time to settle and pressing at every opportunity. Slazengers ladies first team got off to a great start this Saturday, with an early goal in the first 4 minutes. A visionary pass into the circle from Andrea Wallace to the far post was secured nicely into the back of the net by Helen Hough. Bright and early start at Wakefield with both teams having limited numbers. Slazengers had most of the attacking play from the start and Claire Dunstan opened the scoring tally.
