Richard Whawell's sharp finishing produced the first goal as he latched onto the rebount off his first-shot to force the ball home. Slazenger 5th's edged past Huddersfield 7th's 1-0 amid driving rain on Saturday. Both sides had excellent chances to win the game, but superb goalkeeping and defending kept everyone on tenterhooks.
