The result does Slazenger no justice at all after the side put in one of its best team displays of the North East Division 2 season. Slazenger started strongly and had the game under control in spite of some 'interesting' decisions by the umpires. Slazenger seconds claim a 3-1 victory from a pulsating encounter with an experience Ben Rhydding thirds outfit. Slazenger opened brightly and were rewarded with an opening goal from Jonny White who dazzled the Ben Rhydding defence with his fancy stick work.
