Slazenger Boys U10's continued their unbeaten start to the Yorkshire Youth Hockey Association's six-a-side competition with four more wins from games played at Outwood Grange College on Sunday. William Copley broke the deadlock for a 1-0 first game win over Bradford. Tim Carr and Paul Wiper both scored hat tricks as Slazenger seconds romped to a 9-2 friendly win over Bradford. Slazenger went a goal down early in the first half, but two foals from Wiper in the last ten minutes of the first half gave the Horbury men the upper hand. Slazenger men’s 1, returned to winning ways with a well deserved 7-4 victory away at Harrogate in a game that was a mix between great hockey and heavy challenges.
