U12 Boys U12 boys played their finals day today at Doncaster and came out as winners. We had a great turn out with all 10 players available. The first game was against a strong Grimsby team, who were more clinical to covert their changes and came out 2-0 winners. The Slaz boys regrouped and were ready to put the first game behind them. U10 GirlsThe U10 teams were out playing in the last tournament of the season today, the last one for some of the girls who will move up to u12s next season. The A team were playing in Leeds in the league play offs whilst the B & C team were in Doncaster. The C team enjoyed their games and managed one win and two draws. Under 12 Boys Another great U12 boys tournament being played in the sunshine at Doncaster HC. Starting against a strong Grimsby team, the Slaz boys took a bit to get going (must have been the hour sleep they missed 😉). Men's 1st's (3) vs. (4) Huddersfield 1st'sThe Men's first travelled the short  journey to Lockwood Park to hosts and local rivals Huddersfield 1st's. In a fast paced game, it was Slaz who looked stronger, with fast attacking and flowing movement. However, Huddersfield were more clinical on the break. Men’s 1st's (2) vs. (1) Sheffield Uni Bankers 2nd'sMuch the same going into the second half, but Slazenger we’re on the back foot after going down to 10 men for a spell following a yellow card.
