Report: 13-03-2011 – Mens 3rd’s (1) vs (1) Rotherham 4th’s
Due to a rescheduling coincidence, Sunday saw the second match against Rotherham, this time on home ground. Unfortunately Rotherham supplied an umpire; a decision which would come back to haunt Slaz. The match started well, and Slaz made some great moves through the midfield. Unhindered by a poor pitch, Slaz put the pressure on and maintained it all throughout the opening stretch of the game. SLAZ FIGHT BACK TO SECURE PROMOTION Slazenger’s U12 entered their last tournament after a mixed season that has seen them move onto the C pitch of the Yorkshire league.
