Slazenger Mens 3rd's traveled away to Leeds Adel Carnegie at the weekend, and were unfortunate to come away with a 2-1 loss. This result is a blow to the teams promotion hopes. Slaz were looking for the full 3 points, and their start demonstrated the ambition. Some great passing and early pressure by Slazenger resulted in a great many chances. Slazengers knew that this would be hard game against there local rivals and went out with the aim to gain 3 points. Slazengers mens first team entertained Bradford mens first team on Saturday and despite a spirited second half performance, went down 3-1 to the top of the league. Slazengers started brightly and matched Bradford across the pitch fighting hard for possession and winning the 50-50's. Slazengers started brightly playing away against a youthful Bradford development side. All the team played with confidence and were looking to pass the ball early and making good use of the wings.
