Slazenger 5's faced tough opposition in Doncaster 7's but met the challenge with lots of spirit and hard work. Doncaster started the game more quickly and looked a well disciplined side, battling well in midfield and using their young, skilful players up front to great effect. Slazenger went into the game with Halifax with three key squad members missing but were still hopeful that their last years' experience of playing in the league might count for something. A good first morning for the Slazenger Boys U16 A team. Results as follows: Slazenger 2 - 2 Doncaster A slow start against Doncaster meant that Slazenger's defence had to be sound.
