Slazenger's Mens Veterans team played their first home game of the season against Huddersfield Vets on Sunday. Both teams made a sluggish start to the game, probably due to the wintery conditions. Report: 08-12-2012 – Ladies 1st’s (1) vs. (3) Leeds Uni 1st’s

It's a long long time since Slaz played a match without even getting one short corner - however this is what happened at Weetwood on Saturday. With Training cancelled on Thursday perhaps Slaz were a little unprepared, however Leeds Ladies' top of the League position was completely justified by their performance on the day. Report: 08-12-2012 – Ladies 2nd’s (1) vs. (0) Cleckheaton 1st’s

Ladies 2nd's had their first win of the season against higher positioned in the league Cleckheaton. Slazenger dominated play from the start and made lots of attempts on goal including numerous penalty corners in both the first and second half. Report: 08-12-2012 – Ladies 3rd’s (2) vs. (2) Chapeltown 2nd’s

The ladies 3rd string travelled away to fellow league competitors Chapletown 2nd's. Chapeltown presented a strong physical opposition, and gave the visitors an aggressive game. However, Slaz rose to the challenge, creating a close fought, competitive match. Slazengers played some great hockey, and were rewarded with a brace of goals from Elle Poskett.
