December 5, 2012 by Slazenger HC

Slaz men's 2nds continued their great run of form with a win over the Worksop 2nds, new to the Yorkshire league. However it was Worksop who started the quickest with some quick passing play which put slaz under pressure for first 10 minutes. December 5, 2012 by Slazenger HC

After a minutes silence for former player and club steward Bob France, who died in the week, Slazengers started their match against Hull in good form, dominating possession in the middle of the park and using the full width of the pitch to stretch the opposition. After several promising breaks Slazengers won a penalty corner and Mark Kitchen was on hand to convert Jack Mumford's previous effort after the umpire had allowed play to continue after an earlier infringement.
