There was certainly no lack of effort from forwards Elle Poskett & Zoe Bacon, who both had numerous attempts on goal which were all cleared by Tadcasters defence.

Hale and hearty Slazenger fourths pulled no punches in their 4-1 away win over a tidy Tadcaster seconds outfit.
Slazenger were solid all the way up the middle and went two up with goals from Dave Smyth and Richard Hutchins. Tadcaster pegged one back but this merely spurred Slazenger on to better things and two more goals for Smyth and James Walker.
Player of the match went to R. Wilby. Slazenger entertain Leeds fourths on Saturday, 1.30pm.

Slazenger fourths worked hard for their points from a 1-1 home draw with Tadcaster seconds.
Gavin Kay came up with a customary wonder goal, but Slazenger may see the game as two points lost as the side hoped to be pushing for promotion for the second year in succession.

Slazenger seconds battled out a 1-1 draw with Tadcaster firsts.
Slazenger approached the match in confident mood after a strong performance the previous week. However, Tadcaster struggling at the wrong end of the table belied their position with an enterprising start that produced a surprised early goal.
Slazenger hit back almost immediately. For the rest of the half, they played fast, skillful hockey.
Mark Swinden produced a powerful performance to earn himself the man of the man of the match award, but it was not until late in the half, after a succession of penalty corners that Slazenger drew level.
They won a penalty flick and Stu Howie returning after a long break, stepped up to convert with confidence.
Slazenger dominated the second half but were unable to translate their authority into goals.
On Saturday, Slazenger are away to Harrogate thirds.
