A great last tournament for the U12 boys in Leeds this last Sunday 18th March. A larger than normal squad took to the last tournament with gusto. The U12 boys made some good progress at their most recent tournament, gelling as a team, with some stand-out performances. We took a full eleven players includng two 'keepers, with a couple more outfielders unavailable this weekend, which bodes well. Three of the boys were at their first ever tournament. Slazenger 3rd's game against top of the table Sheffield Hallam got off to a flying start when Man of the Match, Ste Johnson scored within the first minute of the game. The goal was cooly slotted home after an earlier shot had rebounded off the keepers pads. Slazengers Mens first team continued their good form with a well deserved 4-2 home win against Sheffield Hallam mens fifth team on Saturday.
