Sheffield pushed Divison 2 table-topping Slazenger all the way and denied them the three points they needed to secure promotion for the second time in three years. The game ended in a 2-2 draw. Slazenger thirds had their toughest game of the season to date, eventually being squeezed out by Sheffield sixths 2-3.
