Promoted Slazenger clinched the Yorkshire League Division 2 title with a thumping 5-1 triumph over Scarborough. Slaz exuded confidence, during what has been a great season, and put their opponents to the sword with some flowing moves. Slazenger Boys U16's had a tough day and mixed results at the weekend. They lost 2-0 to Yorkshire under 15's then secured a good 1-0 win over Scarborough with Skipper James Swindon's short corner strike. Fully charged Slazenger settled quickly into their fluent attacking style at Scarborough to returning confortable 2-1 victors. Will Buckley's tremendous strike opened Slazenger's account in this Pritt Roller Yorkshire League Division 2 fixture.
