Slaz went away to title chase rotherham, ready to secure vital points,but never really got going. The match was scrappy from the start, and a poor astroturf surface slowed the ball down. Slazengers mens first team got back to winning ways on Saturday with a comfortable 3-1 win away to Rotherham seconds. In reality, the win should have been more convincing with Slazengers wasting a number of chances but the three points are still welcomed after a recent dip in form. On Sunday, Slazenger Boys U14 travelled to Huntington School with a 16 strong squadWith 5 spare players, we were able to help out Leeds/Adel who had only 9. Alex King & Nathan Archer went on loan throughout the day so that they both got plenty of game practice, impressing the Leeds coach with their enthusiasm and skill. Slazenger's development team played on Saturday after two weeks away from the field. This was the second, home leg against Rotherham which ended 3-3 in their last encounter. Slazenger's first development league game of the season was away against a confident Rotherham team. However, Slazenger started the strongest and soon went ahead when Rowan Tejura scored from a short corner after the initial effort from James Bennett was saved by the defending team.
