While the win was secured with a 2-0 margin, the team took their time to secure both the opener. After a week off due to the recent cold weather Slazenger 4's quickly got back into the groove against strong opponents Rotherham 5's. Slazengers U16 girls had the perfect end to the last tournament of 2011. Slazenger 3rds got their first league win on the board in emphatic fashion, with a 8-0 win over local rivals Rotherham 4th's. In recent games, Slaz seemed able to create many chances, without the ability to convert them to goals. This was rectified this weekend.
