Slazenger had been monitoring the snow situation on the Rotherham pitch on the Friday and it looked like the game was going to be cancelled. Slaz set off guns blazing to get a win after losing to Normanby Park in the first half of the season, however came away with the first loss of the new year. Slazenger Men’s 2nd Team had an away match against Leeds University 6th Team. It was a close match with only a mistake costing Slaz a draw. Slazenger men's 3rd's hosted league high flyers Brigg 4th's at home, succeeding at holding them to a goalless draw. After putting 2 past Brigg to take a draw in the away leg, Slaz were looking to improve and take the 3 points. However, the task was easier said than done.
