Claire Dunstan scored a hat-trick as Slazengers 3rds beat Legiolians 4-0 in the Yorkshire League to continue their climb up the Division Five table. Dunstan netted the first three goals and Donna Wood completed the tally to leave Slazengers seventh after their third win in four matches. Slazenger Mens 3's latest fixture, away at Lincoln Roses, looked a tough proposition on paper. With only 11 players and no substitutes everyone had to be on the ball from the start. Surprisingly, for a team lying second in the table, it was the home team who didn't look up for this fixture. With no subs the challenge was on to test the ladies fitness when Pocklington arrived with a 15 strong squad. Pocklington battled well against the still undefeated Slazengers, they had a few chances with short corners but Slazengers defence was solid with Donna Slack saving 2 goals from the line.
