This was an important clash with both teams keen to get enough points to clear the relegation points fight near the end of the season. Slazengers mens 2nd team continued their recent good form with a 2-0 victory away to league leaders Doncaster 4ths. Slazengers 3's latest game was a home fixture against local rivals Garforth. In recent seasons these matches have been tough encounters against evenly matched sides. However, Garforth only had eight players and were up against it before the match had even started.
