Slaz ladies 3s visited 3rd place Barnsley where they hoped to claim a much needed point to aid their endeavours to stay in div 5. The game was evenly matched with chances at both ends but it was Barnsley who found the net first from open play. Slazenger Under 10s Boys Hockey at Weetwood 02.03.14 Slazengers v Ben Rhydding 0-3 BR set off with an early lead with an impressive fast and direct shot at the goal. Halifax put the pressure on as they were top of league. They were physical, forced play and slaz began to make mistakes.
