Slazengers welcomed adel to a cold game of hockey but things didn't take long for the two teams to get warmed up. Winless Slazengers 4ths came as close to breaking their duck as they have all season as they pushed Leeds 4ths all the way before losing 3-1 in Division Six North of the Yorkshire Women's League. Slazengers mens 2'nd team suffered no ill effects following the Christmas break with their first game back resulting in a resounding 7-0 victory over Chapeltown mens 2's. The first 10 minutes or so were quite even with Chapeltown going close on a couple of occasions but once Simon Randall had opened the scoring for Slazengers, things were pretty much one way traffic.
