Slazenger u14 girls remained unbeaten again this weekend and secured promotion for a second tournament in succession. With a half time score of 1:1, the girls came out determined. Slazengers under-tens won the latest Yorkshire Youth Hockey League tournament at Weetwood in Leeds – and went goal crazy in the process. Four games yielded 14 goals, with just three conceded, and produced three wins and a draw to leave the Slazengers lads top of Group A. They opened with a 3-0 victory over Airedale, with Will Gascoigne, Frazer Cass and Charlie Bland on target. Slazengers had a really positive first half battling and attacking well going into half time with a 2-0 lead.
