Slazenger 3rds started their league campaign on Saturday against Normanby Park and in swealtering conditions were unfortunate to only come away with a draw. Slazenger 4's gave a decent team performance against a good Doncaster side. In baking hot conditions. After an undeserved defeat in their opening league match to Barnsley 1st last week Slazenger’s Men’s 2nd team deserved their home win against Doncaster 6th on Saturday. Slaz won convincingly 4-2 but loss of concentration cost them a clean sheet 2 goals. Slazenger Mens 1st XI kicked off their league campaign with a convincing 6-1 victory over local rivals Wakefield Mens 3rd's.
