Slazenger 3's match was away against a tough and resilient Leeds Adel side. In a fast and furious encounter both sides were quick in attack and very resilient in defence. Slaz had a different side out that struggled to get its positioning sorted, but battled for possession and played some good hockey getting the ball quickly moving around. Slazengers mens second team took the spoils in the local derby with a hard fought 5-4 victory over local rivals Wakefield. It was Wakefield who started the brightest but Slazengers defended well and took the lead when right back Rowan Tejura broke into the 'd' and fired under the Wakefield keeper. Slazenger men's 3rd's travelled away to Doncaster for the 5pm game under the lights, coming away with a hard fought 3-1 result. The game started smartly, with Slaz playing some good passing hockey and controlling the field. Slazengers latest match against strong opponents Lincoln was a tough, feisty encounter, with both sides keen to win.
