A much-changed Slazenger fourths secured a 6-6 draw at Halifax against the host club's fourth string. Slazenger scored the opening goal through John Sykes, who along with Dave Smyth scored further goals to give the visitors a 402 lead. Slazenger thirds had their toughest game of the season to date, eventually being squeezed out by Sheffield sixths 2-3. Slazenger seconds have finally found a winning formula in this year's higher division. From the off they were the better team against a competitive King Cross. Slazenger won this Division 4 clash 2-0. The youngest of the Swindens opened the scoring and should have had a lot more by the end of the game.
