Slazengers Mens 2nd team continued their recent good form with a 2-1 victory over Ben Rhydding 4's and although the win was deserved, the match was far from a classic. Mens 3 hosted Leeds Adel, and will be feeling unfortunate to only come away with a single point. The team started strongly, playing fast flowing hockey absent for much of the season, putting Adel on the back foot immediately. Slazengers welcomed leeds hockey club on Saturday. The game started swiftly and Leeds opened the scoring from a short corner. Slazengers got back on top with three goals before half time; 2 goals from Richard Tuddenham and 1 from Danny Perry. Slazengers men's 2's visited Leeds men's 6's on Saturday and came away with a resounding 9-1 win. The tone of the match was set when straight from the push back, Slazengers moved the ball well and at pace resulting in Ted Richardson scoring inside 30 seconds.
