Slazengers Men's 2nd team got over the disappointment of the previous week with an excellent 7-1 victory at home to Chapeltown 2's on Saturday. Straight from the off, Slazengers laid a marker down not giving Chapeltown any time to settle and pressing at every opportunity. The new look 3rd team had a tough encounter at Doncaster, eventually being run out 6-2. The team were without a few key players, however the team played some fast flowing hockey in parts, putting the early pressure on. Slazenger 4s started off their campaign with a deserved victory vs Worksop 2s on a sunny afternoon at home. They started off well with an end to end first half which could have resulted in either team going 3 up at the break.
