Freezing temperatures and driving rain added extra tension to a tight game between Slazenger Fifths and Bradford fourths. It ended all square at 3-3. Slazenger fifths made a bright start at Acomb thirds but eventually succumbed 5-3. Simon Randall put Slazenger in front, but the visitors conceded a soft goal and Acomb scored twice more before 'half-time to seemingly take control. Slazenger conceded a fourth just after the break when a tactical switch changed the complexion of the game.
