Slazenger fourths secured a scrppy 2-2 draw with Bradford Univerrsity. Nine-man Bradford held off Slazenger until just beforehelf-time when Simon Hurley opened the scoring. An Ian Wiper hat trick helped Slazenger fourths enjoy a 6-4 win at Ben Rhydding. They enjoyed a perfect start with a brace of goals from Dave Smyth, although the hosts soon pulled one back. Slazenger 4th's suffered a disappointing 4-1 defeat against Normanby Park. Slazenger conceded the first goal midway through the opening half, but battled back well and a superb opportunist effort from John Sykes hauled them level.
