Slazenger thirds had a great first half against quality opposition in Leeds University thirds. But the Student's superior fitness paid off in the end as Leeds ran out 6-2 victors. Martin Lofthouse fired home the opening goal, but Leeds scored a dubious equaliser before half-time.
