Slazenger seconds' kept their winning run intact - even after a 140 mile round trip to Lincoln. Slazenger won 3-1. Good running and a clinical pass from Birkett allowed Alec Gilston to score the opener. Ben Graham had a go from just inside the D and his reverse stick and a bobble beat the goal-keeper. Slazenger seconds have finally found a winning formula in this year's higher division. From the off they were the better team against a competitive King Cross. Slazenger won this Division 4 clash 2-0. The youngest of the Swindens opened the scoring and should have had a lot more by the end of the game.
