Slazenger men’s 2nd team got as away win at Doncaster 6s this weekend. Slaz started brightly and were soon ahead through a great solo effort from Jake Barras, who picked the ball up on the left wing and beat two defenders and the keeper to strike the ball home. Slazenger men’s 2nd team travelled to Sheffield university bankers 7s this weekend and narrowly lost 4-3. Slaz did start sluggishly and were soon behind from a well-worked Sheffield gaol. This did make Slaz come to life after going behind and were soon the stronger team creating chances and were back on level term with a goal from Ben Graham. The second match was a 5-2 win on Sunday home to Leeds 5's. The win was a reward for an excellent team performance against a team pushing for promotion. Leeds started the match strongly and were soon ahead, Slaz reacted well and midway through the first half slaz were back level through a goal from Ben Graham.
