Slazengers mens first eleven travelled to Hull University mens first team knowing that after a 7-0 defeat at home, they would have to be at their best to get anything from the game. Slazengers mens first team came away from Leeds University Mens thirds on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline. However in a game where Leeds had no short corners compared to Slazengers who had close to double figures, the final score certainly didn't reflect the balance of the game. Slazengers mens first team were back in action against fellow strugglers Brigg seconds after a 6 week layoff and came away with a much needed 4-1 victory.After such a long break, the game was always going to be scrappy and the first half found both teams struggling to keep possession.
