Slazenger Mens 1st's got off to a flying start, even with the 10:30 push back away at Chapeltown. Slaz set off guns blazing to get a win after losing to Normanby Park in the first half of the season, however came away with the first loss of the new year. Slazenger mens 1st's continued their run of success eventually coming out top against local rivals Wakefield 3rd's. Slaz had an early start away to Wakefield, but some strong passing play across the pitch and attacking down the wings ensured that it wasn't a wasted trip.
