Slazenger mens 1st's went into their final game of the season knowing that a win would secure their promotion ambitions, making it unlikely to be stopped by the chasing teams. Slazenger Mens 1st's met fellow title chasers Old Malton in an important promotion game. Unfortunately they went down 4-1 to a well drilled if physical Old Malton side. This was Slaz’s biggest game of the season, and Slaz were ready for it. Leeds are a well drilled side and with a win could have a good chance for promotion.
