This year we will be running a mixed interclub summer league. It’s a perfect opportunity to play some social mixed hockey. All money raised will go into the pitch sinking fund. Slazenger's 3's made the journey to Ilkley side Ben Rydding for their final match of the season. The first half saw Slazengers on top of their game with the midfield ensuring that the Ben rydding side only encroached the Slazengers half on a handful of occasions and when they did they caused no concern for the experienced slazengers defence. Slazengers Ladies 3s had a home fixture in their penultimate game against a Pickering team with whom they were looking to repeat their success from earlier in the season, when they had been victors in a closely fought battle. Slazenger Ladies 2s faced top of the league Selby for their return fixture. Slazenger had previously lost to Selby 4-0 so the team knew that they were in for a tough match especially with half of their regular squad missing. Slazengers hoped to get an easy win against struggling Doncaster. Things started off well when Sue Hope took a quick free hit and walked the ball straight into the goal without Doncaster realising the free hit had been taken.
