Slazenger Ladies 2nd's travelled away to Harrogate 4th's for their first game of the season, but unfortunately were overturned with a 2-1 loss. The first half was a tough experience for the newly promoted side, as Harrogate pressed the visitors. The home side scored 2 goals against a Slaz team who struggled to find a footing. It was going to be a day of pure excitement with possible promotion on the cards for the green army. As they travelled south to heckmondwike, they knew a win was vital to keep cleckheaton feeling nervous about their final 2 encounters. Report: 24-03-2012 – Ladies 2nds (3) vs. (1) Halifax 3rd’s

Slaz ladies 2nds won a decisive but fractious 3-1 victory away at Halifax 3rd's.   The team took a while to ajust to a boucy pitch, but before long Elle Poskett scored the opener, with Zoe Bacon following it up 2 minutes later.  As the game progressed, tempers raised, with Jessica Lloyd having to dodge a thrown stick!   However, halifax continued to press,with the game being played from end-to-end at fast pace. Report: 03-03-2012 – Ladies 2nds (3) vs. (2) Bingley Bees 2nd’s

Slazenger Ladies 2nds continue to in their race to the top, after a close encounter away at Bingley Bees. The team overcame high temperatures and driving rain in addition to the official opposition, coming out 3-2 up. Slaz were quick to start, and applied some strong pressure to the home side.
