The first half was a tough experience for the newly promoted side, as Harrogate pressed the visitors. The home side scored 2 goals against a Slaz team who struggled to find a footing.
In the second half, after a rousing team talk, Slaz found their feet and went out on the offensive. Numerous chances were saved by the Harrogate goalkeeper, keeping them in the match. Harrogate struggled to contend with the pressure, unable to get a shot on goal all throughout the second half!
Unfortunately for all their pressure, the team were only able to convert 1 goal; a short corner from Captain Nez Rollinson.
