Slazengers ladies first team got off to a great start this Saturday, with an early goal in the first 4 minutes. A visionary pass into the circle from Andrea Wallace to the far post was secured nicely into the back of the net by Helen Hough. The ladies 1st team had a tough start to the season with an injury riddled encounter against KUH 1st's. The game was delayed early on when Kelly Whittam was injured, causing the game to be delayed. Slazengers visited Wakefield at College Grove on Sunday. With a change in line up from recent weeks, Slazengers gave Claire Dunstan a run out who managed to score the opening goal for Slazengers building their confidence which led to another goal shortly afterwards. Slazengers ladies 1st team regained their confidence with a 4-0 victory. Opening up play very strong saw some unlucky balls going just wide of the goal but managed to take a 2-0 lead just before half time.
