October 29, 2006 by Slazenger HC

Slazenger U16 Girls had mixed emotions as they came away from Driffield with one win and a defeat.

In the first match, Slazengers anticipated a tough task against Driffield A and the hosts didn’t disappoint as they ran out 3-0 winners despite the best efforts of man of the match Tessa Downs in goal.

In the second match, goals from Emily Harley and Phillipa Secker helped Slazengers to a 2-0 victory over Driffield B.

Lucy Ellis and Rebecca McLintock lead the stubborn Slazengers defence that constantly thwarted anything the Driffield attack had to throw at them.
